Beside celebrating and enjoying xmas, I found myself feeding my fish with my fish.
It is always a thrilling show when I feed my scalars with the baby fish. The best time for the scalars has been about 2 minutes to catch and to eat a whole babyfish !
The hunt is really amazing.

Working with the Hpricot lib in Ruby makes programming really fun. No nasty RegEX parsing. An easy x.search("//element") solves it all.
This makes webdata extraction and http testing really easy, handy and fun !

Wondering what I am doing lately ? Beside all the projects at work, I am working on a private thing. Kind of player proxy for a browser game. I use Ruby as scripting language and Hpricot lib for parsing information.Working with the Hpricot lib in Ruby makes programming really fun. No nasty RegEX parsing. Warhammer BETA
Warhammer Online is running a closed BETA at the moment. I tried it out and have to admit, this is way better than WOW and just as addictive as WOW.

My car is a real lemon ...
What a funny statement. Well not my car is a lemon, but the graph tablet i bought at www.mylemon.at. The box seemed to have been opened before and sent back. I guess the former buyer detected the defect as well and returned it back for cash without stating a reason. Now poor me has to sent it back, though the pad is big (A4 size) and quite nice to work on. Annoying still.

EA offers great games. Macs are great. Soo EA games plus Macs ist great * great. At last now I am 100% sure that my next computer will be a MacBookPro, since I have absolutely no concern about the gaming issue anymore.

The godfather, a well known film classic. No, i am not talking about the film, but the Wii edition of the game.
I tried it out today on my beloved Wii. I must say playing this game with the wii controller makes 200% more fun than on a PC.
To play this game, you will need both the Wii remote and the nunchuk. To "fight" your enemies, you can box with you hands, hit with a baseball bat and also shoot with fireguns (in locked-on and free aim style).
In short words, the possibilites of the Wii controllers are used here at a very high potential. That is also why it makes so much fun. I really can not image to play with the regular controlls like on xbox or on a pc.
