Today, i joined the petition against the pullout.
My Reasons:
1. From an economic point of view, the costs related to the pullout is bigger than the cost Austria would have been saving for the next few years. So paying off the debt + saving the 20mio Euro * XY years = Saves how much ?
When the world economy gets better, then what ?? Lets join CERN again after 5 years, after 10 years ?
Many other countries cannot join, even if they want to.
2. From a scientific point of view, the pullout is like the end of the scientific research for the higher Austrian physicist education.

Well, now my old classmates from the mid school are having the first promotion (PhD) parties. This kinda frustrates me since i am still at getting my master diploma.

Really interesting is that even numerology plays a part somehow in the language.
simple words are mostly a pair of 2 characters.
simple idioms are 4 characters long
and
complex idioms are 8 characters long.
So i wonder why have idioms to be even and 4 or 8 characters long and not for instance 3 or 7.

Experience :: My first assessment center
The University of Technology Vienna offers now with its TUCareer center many workshops and other possibilities for alumnis to attend (beside serious job ads and other features). So i thought, why not just join something for fun and gain experience!Read everything!

Hopefully i wont be disappointed at the end of the semester.
This semester i attended several courses with topics about recruiting and managing processes. This gives me a deeper insight into the whole employment "how-to prepare for an interview" and what to "pay attention to" for the case i am once an applicant. Within this stage of the study i think a lot about the future - the next stage after the study. How to improve both my abilities and my
shortcomings beside the casual thoughts about what to do, which job would fit me and my interests.
So in short: a lot of thinkings, no outcomings that i didnt know years ago. So maybe the enlightenment will come within the time passing by.
However, i am also improving my (technical) Chinese skill and my business English skills with joy and interest. I am even thinking about "pimping" my French and Spanish (base) skills at the WU next semester.
My absense ...
My last blog entry was months ago. Well why? With the start of the new semester, my life became busy and stressing again. This time i aimed high. Besides the standard aims like: pass all the exams in this semester, i want to pass them within a grade beyond B to hold my average grade above B. Since those are my last exams at all in my study, i have to get only A grades. This means: start to study for an exam at least one week before to have enough time to really possess all the information needed to gain the best result.Hopefully i wont be disappointed at the end of the semester.

It will start on the first of Oktober at 7 a.m. (yeaaaa 7 a.m., so i have to get up at 5.30 a.m. - it is like midnight for a student). I am really excited. The course is offered by USI (for students and for a fee of 16 euro per semester only)

End of summer, another autumn, a new university semester and hopefully my last wintersemester.This time i cant await the start of the semester. Why?
